Utilitywise – a leading utilities consultancy in Europe, has valued and encouraged entrepreneurship from its start up. Utilitywise was founded 12 years ago with just three employees, and has since grown to become a major employer with more than 1,400 employees. In 2016, Brendan Flattery, our new CEO joined, following a successful career at software giant Sage. Brendan is passionate about empowering and equipping small businesses to achieve their goals. The total population of Ireland is just 4.5 million, measured on a per capita basis, Ireland has more venture funding available than in any other country in Europe, together with more technology and accelerator programmes, this will prove to be a successful combination for small country.
